06.01.09 - Food crisis in Zambia and Malawi:  A recent US report from the University of Michigan warns of potential food shortages for 2009.  It is suggested a joint approach by  the private and public sector is required to tackle the increase in prices and shrinking supply.
 
06.01.09 - New Year message to the people of Zimbabawe:  Clever Bere, President of the Students Union of Zimbabwe has sent a message of hope and solidarity for 2009 after a year of  democratic turmoil and humanitarian disaster. and calls for the return of oppostion leader Morgan Tsvangirai to the country.
